Chatuchak Weekend Market

Open each Saturday and Sunday between 9 am and 6 pm, this is a massive market with around 15,000 stalls where one can simply find anything and everything from clothing and accessories to electronics, homeware and more. The full complement of stalls operates during the weekend while on weekdays only certain sections operate. It can get crowded at peak times however, one does not get lost here thanks to the Clock Tower.
Located at the centre of the market the Clock Tower serves as a meeting point and a place for relaxation with a mini park around it. Arriving at the market early gives you a head start to browse and pick things you wish to purchase, and haggling is expected here. Remember to be respectful and go for a win-win as you collect the goods and settle the vendor as prices are generally reasonable in this market.
