Explore the Fairy Stream of Mui Ne
The Fairy Stream in Mui Ne Ward starts from Duong Village, Thien Nghiep Commune and flows through Ham Tien Ward before joining the sea. It runs for about 1.8 KM. The stream is not like any other you have seen before. It is hidden behind the Red and Golden Sand Dunes and has reddish-orange colour water flowing. The landscape surrounding the stream is unique due to the peculiar sand formations on one side of the bank and the lush green forest on the opposite bank. These peculiar sand formations of sandcastle-like structures are due to the natural erosion caused by weather conditions in Mui Ne for years. The erosion has created a contrast between red, white and gold sand layers creating a picturesque view.
Hiking the Ta Cu Mountain
The diverse experience at Mui Ne is a blend of adventure, sandy beaches and culture. If you want to balance your beach time with a hike, you must visit Ta Cu Mountain which is just an hour from Mui Ne. It will take another 1 hour 30 minutes to climb to the summit. As you enter the Ta Cu Mountain theme park area, there is a water fountain and a walking path. You will also pass the children’s play area and a sunflower field which you can visit after the hike. As you hike through the makeshift stairs made of large rocks you will see many monkeys. When you are close to the top, you will see the cable car station which you can take on the way back. As you reach the top, you will enter Linh Son Truong Tho Pagoda. The temple has the longest reclining Buddha statue in Southeast Asia.
