The Beach Dubai

The Beach is a massive area with a variety of outdoor activities, retail establishments, fitness facilities, and restaurants. Here, you’ll be able to spot roaming camels; these animals will make for wonderful photo opportunities. It is one of Dubai's most sociable public beaches, so there's a children's play area and a train that transports families down the beach. It's an excellent place to grab a quick bite and then go shopping, with 41 eateries and 25 retail businesses dotting the area. The Beach is also a wonderful place to watch Ain Dubai, the world's largest observation wheel. If heights are your thing, try The Flying Cup, an observation platform that takes seated visitors up in the air for a sip and offers 360º views of the neighbourhood.

Al Mamzar Beach

Al Mamzar Beach Park spans 106 hectares. There are five areas of the beach, all of which are supervised by lifeguards. There are plenty of activities for families to enjoy, such as picnicking on the lawn and letting the kids have the time of their lives in the play area. There are swimming pools, beach coves, lagoons and lots of dining options for those seeking shade from the sun. This public beach does have its very own amphitheatre. On Mondays and Wednesdays, only children and women are permitted to enter.

La Mer Dubai

La Mer is a residential community in Dubai that is divided into three distinct areas: La Mer North, La Mer South, and Laguna. La Mer is situated between Pearl Jumeirah and Jumeirah Bay. Throughout this lengthy stretch of calm, sandy beach there are more than 85 shops, restaurants, cafes and beach activities to keep you occupied while you wait for the sun to set. It has hosted the yearly Dubai Canvas exhibition, and more than 15 art installations have remained in the location, creating a popular tourist spot for art enthusiasts.

Al Sufouh Beach

Al Sufouh Beach, located between the iconic Palm Jumeirah and the breathtaking Madinat Jumeirah, is yet another gem that runs along King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (previously known as Al Sufouh Road). This is a minimalistic beach that focuses on pure sand instead of providing amenities such as eateries, amusement, and shopping. This public beach is also known as the Secret Beach or the Black Palace Beach. It is particularly popular with families since it has shallow waters where children can splash around. So, if your kids would love to swim in the ocean, then this is the place to take them!
